I’m a huge fan but the new album is disappointing to say the least, I’ve listen to it numerous times and not a single song stands out unlike the first time I heard almost every other song they’ve done. I’m not sure what it is but to my untrained ear anyway it seems to fall into the bland soon to be forgotten sea of pop music.

Amen. I was wondering if I was alone in thinking this. Over the past year more and more of my facebook friends have been closing off their profiles because of concerns about professionalism. Now that friends and coworkers are my “friends” I have to self-censor myself more than I’m used to.

So that’s why I’m looking for facebook alternatives.

Not sure what you point is here in this posting, but the idea that the ACC debate is over, is dead wrong. Climate change is happening, it always has happened and it always will. It happens fast sometimes and it happens slowly at others, the temperature of the earth rises and it falls, the oceans rise and they fall. The question is not that it is happening, it is. The question is whether human activity and CO2 is the cause, and that is the debate. When the media talks about climate change, they show pictures of melting glaciers and polar bears but those just make good ratings. Remember, melting glaciers, hurricanes and cuddly polar bears are evidence of climate change only, they are not evidence that CO2 is the cause. The debate is about CO2.

First, asking a climate scientist if climate change is real is akin to asking a preist if God is real, what would you expect them to say? And besides, that old 97% claim was debunked.

An edited version of an existing work is still plagarism. Try sitting in a college classroom, paraphrase or ‘edit’ a work by shakespeare and see if the teacher doesn’t ding your ‘****’ for plagarism. Recall the ‘rose’ naming? You can CALL it editing, but in a court of law, it is still called plagarism.
Worse, to publish an edited version is an attempt to ‘con’ the public. A ‘con’ is a scam, and as such is illegal…particularly if you earn money by it.
